Sting 2024 Tour Announcement – Sting 3.0 Tour Schedule
Sting is reinventing himself on the “Sting 3.0 Tour,” and he wants you there in the crowd! The rock icon will begin on September 17th in Detroit, MI, continuing through November 15th in Los Angeles, CA.
This Sting tour represents a new era for the 12-time GRAMMY Award winner, opening the vault to his vast musical catalog alongside his new three-piece ensemble. Well, semi-new, as he’s linking up with two of his longtime collaborators. With master guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas, who’s previously worked with Mumford & Sons and Maggie Rogers, by his side, Sting will be simply unstoppable.
The three men will perform “the most electrifying hits from Sting’s timeless discography for multiple-night stints in some of the most legendary theatres across North America,” per a press release. And somehow, we believe even this hardly justifies the high-level show we’re about to see. Sting is a musical prodigy with half a century’s worth of hits under his belt, both solo and with The Police.
He’s sold over 100 million records, been inducted into the Rock and Roll and Songwriters Hall of Fame, respectively, and earned a reputation for his instantly-recognizable vibrato. And that’s just the beginning of Sting’s endless list of accolades. But once you enter the venue and get swept away in his smooth, soulful voice, you’ll understand that this is, at the end of the day, just a very successful man who lives and breathes music.
Expect to hear the greatest hits from Sting’s storied career, including “Every Breath You Take,” “Desert Rose,” “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” and “Fields of Gold.” They come together to paint a picture of the quintessential rock star, who’s also unafraid to incorporate pop, rock, jazz, and even world music into his impressive catalog.
