St Vincent 2021 Tour Schedule- Daddy’s Home Tour Coverage
After a series of virtual concerts, indie pop-rock icon St. Vincent is ready to start performing in the flesh once again. The Daddy’s Home tour begins on September 3rd in Portland, ME, and goes on until October 20th in Detroit, MI.
This tour is named for St. Vincent’s seventh album, Daddy’s Home, which was released in May 2021 to critical acclaim. Rolling Stone called it “a mutant strain of retro pop steeped in New York lore,” while Pitchfork commended the personal themes of St. Vincent (real name: Annie Clark) discussing her father’s release from prison.
This album is symbolic of St. Vincent’s signature musical style – a fusion of indie, pop, and rock that’s ripe with masterpieces that are occasionally a bit manic. It wasn’t just the critics who liked what they heard on Daddy’s Home, but also her fans.
In addition to a stint on Saturday Night Live playing the new tracks “Pay Your Way in Pain,” and “The Melting of the Sun,” St. Vincent has also played virtual performances throughout 2020. Her live-streamed concert, Down and Out Downtown, attracted viewers from all over the globe, who watched her perform hits like “Los Ageless” and more from her seven studio albums.
Even with the success of her virtual concerts, St. Vincent is ready to meet her fans face-to-face once again. The Daddy’s Home tour is hitting many major cities around the country – check the schedule below and get your tickets today!
