Slipknot 2024 Tour Announcement – Here Comes the Pain 25th Anniversary Tour Schedule
Slipknot is bringing (ironically) no pain and all gain on their anniversary trek! Celebrating 25 years of their self-titled debut, the masked heavy metal band will play alongside Knocked Loose, Orbit Culture, and Vended in seventeen cities. They’ll kick off on August 6th in Noblesville, IN, continuing through September 21st in their hometown of Des Moines, IA.

Due to overwhelming demand, they’ve already had to announce a second Slipknot concert at the as-yet-unopened Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. And when you consider their other stops at Madison Square Garden in New York City and Moody Center in Austin, TX, you know this road show is destined to be revolutionary. Entering a new-yet-nostalgic era in which they wear reimagined, and even more grotesque versions of their original masks, Slipknot is ready to party like its 1999 — metalhead style.
They debuted this chapter of their career at the Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas last weekend, welcoming both old and new Maggots (their beloved community) into the crowd. And now, fans across the country can experience their famously chaotic live shows and pioneering brand of metal. You know, the mind-numbing soundscapes that have influenced everyone from Knocked Loose and Whitechapel to Sleep Token.
You haven’t lived until you’ve heard frontman Corey Taylor’s gruff vocals live, or witnessed Sid Wilson (#0) make turntable magic while Mick Thomson (#7) shreds on the guitar. Their entire catalog of heavy hits — including “Duality,” “Psychosocial,” “Custer,” and the GRAMMY-winning “Before I Forget” — are on the table for this Slipknot tour. However, they’re giving extra credit to the album that made them…and they can’t wait to see you head bang along in the crowd to old favorites.
Slipknot produced some of the crowd-pleasers we still love all these years later, including “Spit It Out” and “Wait and Bleed.” The album peaked at No. 51 on the Billboard 200, a first for nine nu-metal newcomers from the Midwest, and brought heavy music to the mainstream with aggressive choruses and charismatic personalities. Plus, a set of ferocious but fascinating masks that made Slipknot the talk of the metal scene.
After 25 years, 30 million records sold, 64 award nominations and 27 wins, and some less-than-ideal moments including member losses, Slipknot remains a powerhouse band to this very day. The Here Comes the Pain tour will be a celebration of their past, present, and future, and they can’t wait to have you along for the ride. Get your tickets now!
