Sleeping With Sirens 2022 Tour Announcement – Complete Collapse Tour Schedule
Are you prepared for a Sleeping With Sirens tour like never before? The post-hardcore heroes are supporting their upcoming seventh album, Complete Collapse, with ten intimate concerts. These performances begin on October 11th in Nashville, TN, with stops in Denver, CO, Mesa, AZ, Anaheim, CA, and more before wrapping up on the 28th in Fresno, CA.
Sleeping with Sirens is one of the biggest bands in the alternative rock scene, frequently selling out the country’s top venues and making appearances at all your favorite music festivals. This includes the upcoming When We Were Young in Las Vegas, where they’ll join all their friends for the emo revival of the century. However, Kellin Quinn and his bandmates are playing a few smaller shows in between. These include performances at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, an iconic rock venue with a capacity of 250, and the tiny-yet-mighty Neck of the Woods in the Bay Area. They’re bringing their arena rock-quality hits to mini-stages they haven’t played in nearly a decade, and you don’t want to miss this one-in-a-million opportunity to see a Sleeping With Sirens concert.
While the full album won’t be released until October 2022, the group has already debuted the titular track off Complete Collapse, and people like what they hear. Rock Sound describes the song as “an insanely catchy, brilliant stark and infectious piece of existential modern rock,” while nearly a million fans have watched the psychedelic music video. Despite the ultra-bright backdrop and pizza costume (yes, really) in the video, the lyrics of “Complete Collapse” are actually quite dark and fitting for the emo theme of 2022. Vocalist Kellin Quinn expanded a bit on the songwriting process for the track in a recent interview.
“‘Complete Collapse’ is actually a song about how I was feeling mentally before the pandemic and how I could have completely collapsed if it weren’t for the time at home,” Quinn admitted, “Having the time to restore and not burn out was a godsend, which is ironic for how terrible the pandemic was.” “It is also the reason for the title and the picture on the cover of our album,” he continued, “I think that says it best that we’re all just chilling at the pool drinking our martinis while everything is burning around us.”
Sleeping With Sirens isn’t the first band to confess that they used the downtime during the pandemic to relax, recharge, and make new music… but many are betting that this could be the best album of their career. We can’t wait to hear these new songs on the Sleeping With Sirens tour, plus old favorites like “If You Can’t Hang” and “Do It Now Remember It Later,” and it’s going to be a blast in these intimate venues.
