Silverstein 2023 Tour Announcement – This Is How The Wind Shifts Anniversary Tour Schedule
Road warriors Silverstein are back at it again. And this time, they’re celebrating one decade of their seventh album, This Is How The Wind Shifts! Joined by Stray From The Path and Avoid, the metalcore troupe will begin on November 11th in Toronto, ON. They’ll stop in cities like Philadelphia, PA; Dallas, TX; Anaheim, CA; and more before finishing up on December 17th in Detroit, MI.
“We heard the overwhelming demand for this tour, and it’s finally here!” Silverstein said in a statement. “Celebrating 10 Years of our album, This is How the Wind Shifts. This album is very special to us, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to give it the celebration it deserves. We will be performing the iconic fan-favorite concept album in its entirety for the first time ever.”
“Additionally, we’ll add a bunch of your favorite songs from the rest of our catalog – you don’t want to miss it!” they continued. “We strive to make each tour a special experience for our fans, and this is no exception!” As the kids say…where is the lie? It seems like Silverstein is always on the road. They just completed a set of dates this spring to support their eleventh and latest album, 2022’s Misery Made Me.
Additionally, last year saw them performing alongside The Amity Affliction as they growled out new songs like “It’s Over,” “Bankrupt,” and “Live Like This.” There are plenty of metalcore bands on tour this year, including Bad Omens and The Used with Sleeping with Sirens. But did you know that Silverstein is a genre staple that’s been around longer than nearly all these other groups?
Shane Told is a certified metal hero with a mix of clean vocals and epic screams that rival the scene’s most famous frontmen. And you’ll hear it firsthand as Silverstein performs This Is How The Wind Shifts from front-to-back on tour. Featuring songs like “Stand Amid the Roar,” “Massachusetts,” and “In a Place of Solace,” it’s a surreal concept album that takes you deep into the thought process of a metalcore masterpiece.
Basically, it’s a bit of a rock opera for emo kids everywhere. And Silverstein intends to do their 2013 album justice on their upcoming trek. But don’t worry; you’ll still hear older favorites like “My Heroine” and “Call It Karma” from their two-decade career! Get your Silverstein tickets today.
