Silverstein 2023 Tour Announcement – Misery Made Me Tour Schedule

Silverstein is all set for the next run of their “Misery Made Me tour,” this time joined by Dayseeker, SeeYouSpaceCowboy, and One Step Closer! The rock outfit will hit the road on March 30th in Ottawa, ON, making stops all through the US and their native Canada before concluding on May 7th in Grand Rapids, MI.

“We’re incredibly excited to come back to the US and Canada, with some awesome bands, rocking out in some cities we don’t get a chance to play every day!” said Silverstein. “We hand-selected all the openers as they’re truly the best artists doing it in their respective genres right now. Make sure you come early and stay late! It’s an amazing lineup.” “Get ready to experience a set of new and old classics,” they continued, “with the best production we’ve ever had to compliment it. We are leaving it all on the stage this tour with our most elaborate and intense performance ever.”

Silverstein continues to support its tenth studio album; Misery Made Me, which also sent them out last year on a co-headlining trek with The Amity Affliction. Longtime fans of the retired emo outfit know that they’ve “still got it,” but did you realize that they could rock this hard?! Vocalist Shane Told has clean vocals and screams that rival the scene’s most famous frontmen, while their catchy choruses transport you all the way back to the peak Warped Tour era. It’s nostalgia mixed with newness for any post-hardcore fan, and you’ll have a blast screaming along to both old and new songs.

New singles include “It’s Over,” “Bankrupt,” and “Live Like This,” the last of which was made into a stunning and emotional music video. “I don’t wanna die, but I can’t live like this’ — the lyric says it all,”  frontman Shane Told says of the single. “Living through an unimaginable time, we all faced some of the darkest feelings of our lives. The uncertainty, the anxiety, it was crippling.” “Bringing in another voice was important for this song to show its universal meaning,” he continues, referencing guest vocals from nothing, nowhere. “Joe [nothing, nowhere.] is from a different country, a different upbringing, a different age group, but his voice resonates just as loud as mine.” The song is certainly one of the most relatable on Misery Made Me, and is peak Silverstein with equal parts screaming and singing.

They’ll also be playing the classics, of course, including “Smile in Your Sleep,” “Smashed Into Pieces,” “Call it Karma,” and more. Are you excited yet? Get your Silverstein tickets now!
