Scene Queen 2023 Tour Announcement – Bimbo Beta Pi Tour Schedule
Let’s get the party started with Scene Queen! The metalcore maven will kick off her headlining “Bimbo Beta Pi Tour” on November 2nd in Los Angeles, CA. She’ll make stops in Seattle, WA, Lakewood, OH, Austin, TX, and more before concluding on December 9th in Anaheim, CA.
Scene Queen is celebrating the release of her sophomore EP, Bimbocore Vol. 2, which came just a few months after her debut! Therefore, her fusion of feminist themes and raging metalcore (more on that later) is still fresh in our minds. And people have been humming heavy hits like “Pink Hotel,” “Barbie & Ken,” and “Pink Whitney” ever since. The 26-year-old is very proud of this boundary-pushing project, which she recently opened up about on social media.
“ITS OUT! My sophomore EP, BIMBOCORE VOL 2, just dropped!,” Scene Queen wrote on Instagram. She thanked various people throughout the paragraph, but gave a special shout out to her record label. “A huge thank you to everyone at @hopelessrecords for never stifling my creativity. This project treads into some new and wild territories and having a partner that is both patient and has a sense of humor means the world. Also thank you for putting so many rad women onto this project and understanding just how important that is to me.”

“And of course thank you to anyone who listens,” she concluded, “Welcome to Bimbo Beta Pi 💖 Buckle up because it’s a ride from start to finish.” She isn’t joking! Did you know that Scene Queen, born Hannah Collins, practically invented an entire genre called “Bimbocore?” Not to be confused with “Barbiecore,” this type of music is a subgenre of metalcore. But unlike the aggressive and fist-pumping tunes of typical metalcore groups, like The Devil Wears Prada and We Came as Romans, Scene Queen isn’t afraid to get girly. She sings about everything from the turmoil of relationships to her simple passion for shopping, and we love her for it.

These songs aren’t just all kinds of catchy, but have helped her become an inspiration to women in rock music everywhere. We wouldn’t be surprised to see Scene Queen compared to the likes of Hayley Williams from Paramore or Poppy very soon, and this headlining tour is just the start of her success!
