Sam Hunt 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule

Sam Hunt continues his summer 2022 tour, which extends into fall and takes the country-pop singer to dozens of cities. His next Sam Hunt concert takes place on July 7th in Council Bluffs, IA, while performances last through October 15th in Sparks, NV.

Hunt is still celebrating his sophomore album, 2020’s Southside, while he also released a new single just in time for summer 2022. “Water Under the Bridge” is a sold country-pop track that Music Mayhem Magazine calls “an ode to adolescence paired with an infectious groove that instantly pulls listeners in.” If you’ve listened to any of Hunt’s chart-topping singles from the past ten years, including those he wrote for megastars like Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban, you know that he can pen a catchy tune. And if “Water Under the Bridge” isn’t the summer anthem we all needed, we don’t know what is.

“It’s a song that is literally about ‘Water Under The Bridge,’ but it’s really about that little place that most small towns have,” Hunt said in a statement. ”In my case, it was a little hangout spot down by the river up under an old back road, and we used to gather up there – folks have been gathering up there long before we came along, and I’m sure still gathering up there now.” He continued with, “but on Friday and Saturday night go out there to have a good time, let our hair down a little bit, get into a little bit of trouble. We made a lot of memories out there.”

Making memories is something he’s been doing quite a bit of over the past decade, ever since he released his debut album, Montevallo, in 2014. He’s had several record-breaking moments, including Grammy and CMA award nominations and becoming the first solo country artist in 22 years to simultaneously top three Billboard country music charts. 

He rode the success of his debut album for as long as possible but finally gave his fans what they yearned for with his 2020 effort, Southside. Singles like “Hard to Forget” and “Breaking Up Was Easy in the 90s” helped us through the stress of the pandemic as summer treks, including the 2021 Sam Hunt tour, were canceled. Now, he’s ready to take his show on the road and give these tracks the killer performances they deserve.
