Sabrina Carpenter has released dates for the “Emails I Can’t Send tour,” taking the Gen Z singer to 12 cities in fall 2022. She’ll kick off on September 28th in Orlando, FL, and continue through October 16th in San Francisco, CA.
Carpenter announced her upcoming tour on Instagram in a simple yet exciting way, only writing, “I’M GOING ON TOUR.” She’s supporting her fifth album, Emails I Can’t Send, which was released in July 2022… and she’ll definitely be performing her latest singles like “Skinny Dipping,” “Fast Times,” and “Vicious.” While Carpenter started as a teen idol acting on the Disney Channel, her music is only getting more mature with age. Now at 23 years old, she’s excited to show fans another side of herself that’s unfiltered and raw.
“I had to fight the urge to do what I normally do — cover it up with confidence — and instead just actually feel those feelings,” Carpenter told Rolling Stone about the songwriting process for Emails I Can’t Send, “The tolerance for bullsh*t in the last two years really minimized for me.” “When you’re younger, it’s a lot easier to let the words and labels that people put on you affect you and become part of who you are, she continued. “Once you start to rebel against that, it starts to feel a little bit scarier, but also a bit more freeing. That’s why it felt like growing pains the whole time that I was making it.”
She’s accepted that what people think of her is nobody’s business and lets her true emotions splatter across the page with these song lyrics.
