Russ 2022 Tour Announcement – Shake the Globe Tour Schedule
Russ is ready for his Shake the Globe tour, kicking off in spring 2022. You can see the rapper beginning April 29th in Seattle, WA, dates spanning over a month before the final show on June 11th in Miami, FL.
This Russ tour is named for his fourteenth album, 2020’s Shake the Snow Globe, which also happened to be his last release before voluntarily leaving Columbia Records the same year. The much-publicized act was proof of Russ’s outspoken nature and the constant fight for freedom, and he’s been loving his return to life as an indie artist ever since. Of course, he still wants to celebrate the beloved hip-hop album that helped us through the darkness of the pandemic.
Released in January 2020, before the world turned upside down, Shake the Snow Globe was supported by four singles. He’ll perform “Civil War,” “Paranoid,” “Best on Earth,” and “Summer at 7” on this Russ tour, while we also wonder if he’ll put out a few guest stars on stage. The album featured appearances by big names like Boogie, Benny the Butcher, Devin the Dude, and many more, so it’s not a stretch to hope for an onstage collaboration. Even so, this Russ tour will feature endless iconic nights courtesy of the 29-year-old rapper.
As for what Russ, born Russell James Vitale, has been up to since releasing the tour namesake in 2020? Quite a bit. He released a self-help book called It’s All In Your Head, which has a rating of 4.8 and over 5,000 reviews on Amazon. He also enhanced his career as an independent artist by starting his own label, DIEMON, and recently released a single called “Handsomer” that’s gaining momentum on TikTok and earning more than 2 million daily streams on Spotify. This is just the beginning of his re-emergence into the indie world, and we can’t wait to see it up close and personal on the Russ tour.
