Red Hot Chili Peppers 2024 Tour Announcement – Unlimited Love Tour Schedule
Red Hot Chili Peppers have extended the “Unlimited Love Tour” into 2024! The funk rock pioneers will next play on February 17th in Lincoln, CA. They’ll stop in cities like Ridgefield, WA, Raleigh, NC, Toronto, ON, and more before concluding on July 30th in Maryland Heights, MO.
Joined by a mix of rap and rock acts including Ice Cube, Ken Carson, Kid Cudi, Wand, and more, this Red Hot Chili Peppers tour will be absolutely unhinged. In the best way, of course! Anthony Kiedis and Co. are as famous for their onstage antics as they are for their lengthy repertoire of funk-rock favorites. And you’ll get a taste of both and so much more as they celebrate their twelfth record, Unlimited Love.
Released last year, this record marked their first since 2016’s Live In Paris, and put Red Hot Chili Peppers back on the rock charts with singles like “Black Summer” and “These Are The Ways.” Unlimited Love also signaled the return of former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante after a ten-year-hiatus, so it was an emotional time all around! As they reminded fans why they’re one of the best SoCal rock acts in the world, the band even went one step further and decided to put out two new albums in one year.
That’s right, they also released their thirteenth album, Return of the Dream Canteen, in October 2022, mere months after their last project! With the return of an old friend and a new era for rock music brewing in the background, their creative juices just kept flowing. And Red Hot Chili Peppers decided to give their two latest albums the individual love they deserved. Just listen to new singles like “Tippa My Tongue” and “The Drummer” to understand what we’re talking about.
“We just wrote a bunch of music and wrote and wrote with no time constraints and ended up recording all these songs,” Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith told Billboard. “We always record more than what comes out on a record, but often they get left in the vault or unfinished or whatever. But we finished them all. We just felt like we had too many good songs to not put out another record. It’s not like a b-sides record or anything like that. Everything felt good and right.”
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers never put put anything that isn’t 100% authentic to their band, along with being brutally catchy. And Red Hot Chili Peppers have certainly outdone themselves with their latest pieces of work. Along with a myriad of new songs, you can also expect to hear old favorites like “Californification,” “Under The Bridge,” “Can’t Stop,” and “Dani California” on the Unlimited Love tour!
