Reba McEntire 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Reba McEntire has extended her concerts through fall 2022. Joined by Terri Clark, the country legend will kick off on October 13th in Lafayette, LA, and make 17 stops before concluding on November 29th in Wichita, KS.
“I can’t wait to see everyone out on the road again this fall,” said McEntire. “We had so much fun in the spring, and I’m ready to get back out there with my buddy Terri Clark.” Reba has been performing regularly since last summer. Her treks have included a co-headlining Las Vegas residency with longtime friends Brooks & Dunn, plus early 2022 shows alongside fellow female country stars like Caylee Hammack, Brittney Spencer, and Tenille Townes. If it’s not clear yet, she loves singing alongside her friends and can’t wait to hit the road with Clark.
The setlist will be jam-packed with nearly half a century’s worth of hits from McEntire. We’re talking about “Fancy,” “Dear Rodeo,” “Consider Me Gone,” “I’m a Survivor,” and more! She released her debut self-titled album in 1977 and her most recent 33rd record, Stronger Than the Truth, just a few years back in 2019! She’s having even more fun onstage now at 67 than she did decades ago, while also using her Reba McEntire concerts as a coping mechanism for heartache.
She lost her mother to cancer in March 2020, shortly before the pandemic, which kept Reba inside for nearly two years. It was certainly a solemn time for the country star, but she’s found happiness again in the form of her friends, family, and longtime fans. When she’s not rehearsing for the upcoming Reba McEntire tour, she’s filming several TV series, including the Lifetime movie, The Hammer, and has even hinted that she hopes to do a reboot of the Emmy-winning TV show.
“We’ve really been trying hard to do a reboot of the Reba show,” McEntire told Billboard about the show, which ran from 2001 to 2007. “I really want to work with the people that I got to work with during that six and a half years. It was fun; the cast the crew everybody we got to work with and play with, they were wonderful people. We wanted to get back together like a reunion and have fun, so hopefully, that will happen one day.” While you’re waiting for a reboot of Reba, why not see the woman herself onstage?
