BLXST 2022 Tour Announcement – Before You Go Tour Schedule
The BLXST tour continues through the rest of summer 2022 in support of his debut album, Before You Go! You can next catch the West Coast rapper-R&B singer on August 8th in New York, NY, with stops in Philadelphia, PA, Nashville, TN, Austin, TX, and more before wrapping up in his hometown of Los Angeles, CA, on September 1st.
BLXST, born Matthew Dean Burdette, has supported his debut album in style throughout summer 2022. He’s made stops in dozens of major cities, including Chicago, IL, for his first appearance at Lollapalooza last month! The setlist includes new tracks off Before You Go, including “Keep Comin’ Back,” “Be Forreal,” and “Couldn’t Wait For It,” featuring Rick Ross, plus the classics from his two EPs, No Love Lost and Just For Clarity.
No Love Lost helped BLXST rise to fame two years ago, containing the single “Chosen” with Tyga and Ty Dolla Sign that’s garnered over 65 million views on YouTube and counting. And don’t even get us started on the TikTok content, which kept plenty of Gen Z entertained throughout quarantine. With his name rising in popularity among the best West Coast rappers and R&B stars, BLXST finally released his debut record in April 2022, and people liked what they heard.
“No Love Lost was the perfect introduction to the rising star’s sound and what he stood for, and Before You Go is the perfect follow-up that proves he’s here to stay,” Revolt wrote in its album review. Meanwhile, HipHopDX states that BLXST uses the record to “tap into a new level of creativity, an impressive feat given how polished his music already is.” The publication doesn’t stop there, saying that “with all the early success he’s seen, the West Coast multi-hyphenate feels more excited than worried about the impact that Before You Go might have.” We’re bound to agree, as we think this is just the beginning for BLXST.
