Rage Against the Machine 2022 Tour Announcement – Public Service Announcement Tour Schedule

Rage Against the Machine has announced rescheduled dates for the Public Service Announcement tour, now happening in the spring of 2022 with support from Run the Jewels. This reunion tour will kick off on March 31st in El Paso, TX, and continue for roughly five months before wrapping up on August 14th in New York, NY.

The Public Service Announcement tour has been a long time coming, originally announced over two years ago to mark the return of Rage Against the Machine. Fans expressed their thrill on social media about seeing the rock band again for the first time in nearly a decade… until COVID-19 caused this set of performances to be postponed – twice.

With new dates in place for 2022, people are confident that they’ll finally get to see the band that’s never been afraid to mix pop culture and politics. Nearly all Rage Against the Machine songs – including “Killing in The Name,” “Bulls on Parade,” and “Take the Power Back” – feature lyrics centered around their anti-authoritarian and revolutionary political views. 

Since their formation in Los Angeles in 1991, the rock-rap group has used their music as a vehicle for social change and to fight for the greater good. Thirty years after the band was born, their message is even more relevant in today’s climate.

“I’m interested in spreading those ideas through art, because music has the power to cross borders, to break military sieges and to establish real dialogue,” vocalist Zack de la Rocha once said. Rage Against the Machine has supported various causes over three decades and four hit albums, and they have no plans to stop.
