New Found Glory 2021 Tour Announcement – Pop Punk’s Still Not Dead Tour Schedule
New Found Glory is ready to prove that “Pop Punk’s Still Not Dead,” as the group is currently on the tour of the same name. Joined by friends like Less Than Jake, Hot Mulligan, and Lolo, this tour will play and medium-sized venues throughout the country before wrapping up on October 17th in Orlando, FL.
This tour takes place ten years after the original “Pop Punk’s Not Dead” tour that ran in 2011, featuring New Found Glory as headliners with support from Set Your Goals and The Wonder Years. When you’ve been releasing pop-punk bangers since 1997, like New Found Glory, you can get a bit protective over the genre that defines you… and this tour will show you the power of pop-punk as you’ve never seen it before.
If the lineup of the Pop Punks Still Not Dead tour is giving you flashbacks to the Warped tour main stage, that’s definitely intentional! We all miss the annual music festival that brought alt-rock, emo, and pop-punk kids together into one crowd, and this New Found Glory tour is a reunion for some of Kevin Lyman’s biggest players.
In fact, Simple Plan was originally meant to join Pop Punk’s Still Not Dead tour before making the difficult decision to drop out. As frequent tourmates of New Found Glory, it was a bit of a disappointment that we won’t hear “I’m Just a Kid” or “Welcome to My Life” on this tour. That being said, they were replaced by another set of pop-punk legends: Less Than Jake!
“Other than Warped Tour, New Found Glory and Less Than Jake have not done a proper tour together since the infamous Honda Civic Tour back in 2003,” New Found Glory said in a statement. “So we are very excited that they were able to step in!”
Are you excited to see these two early 2000s legends sharing the stage together on the Pop Punks Still Not Dead tour? Tickets are going fast! Check the tour schedule below and get ready to head into the mosh pit!
