Queensrÿche 2024 Tour Announcement – The Origins Tour Schedule
Queensrÿche is bringing the classics to your city on “The Origins Tour!” Joined by Armored Saint, the progressive metal leaders will kick off on March 22nd in Houston, TX. They’ll stop in 30+ cities before wrapping up on May 12th in Fort Myers, FL.
“We are thrilled to bring to you The Origins Tour!,’” says singer Todd La Torre. “This will be the first time in Queensrÿche’s history that the EP and The Warning will be performed live in their entirety. And to make this an even more stellar tour, we are so excited that our great friends and legendary metallers Armored Saint will be joining us as direct support. We are all proud to bring you this touring package and we can’t wait to see you on the road.”
To say that Queensrÿche’s origins are interesting would be an understatement. They celebrated their 40th anniversary just last year — supporting a legacy that includes one singer change, over 20 million albums sold, and countless progressive metal hits. And of course, we can’t forget their hell-raising and ultra-intoxicating live performances, which put them on the map all those years ago. They’ve embarked on some epic tours in the 2020s, but the Origins trek will be unlike anything they’ve done before.
2024 marks a whopping 40 years since Queensrÿche’s debut album, The Warning, was released…and you can bet that the band will do it justice. With the entire album being played in its entirety, you can surely expect a live debut or two! Fans will always appreciate the lead singles like “Warning” and “Take Hold of the Flame,” but the more underrated tracks deserve love too. And they’ll finally get their moment on next year’s Queensrÿche tour.
Have you spent the past year listening to Queensrÿche’s sixteenth and latest album, 2022’s Digital Noise Alliance? That’s perfectly okay, just don’t forget to take a trip back in time and listen to the classics before next year’s tour.
