Poppy and Pvris 2023 Tour Announcement – The Godless/Goddess Tour Schedule
Poppy and Pvris are embarking on a co-headlining trek! Are you ready to mix heavy metal with lighthearted pop-rock? Joined by Tommy Genesis and Pom Pom Squad, the “Godless/Goddess tour” begins on August 18th in Seattle, WA. They’ll make stops in San Francisco, CA; Oklahoma City, OK; Columbus, OH; and more before concluding on September 15th in Toronto, ON.
While Pvris and Poppy are both headed by strong female vocalists who can effortlessly win over a crowd, there’s no denying they’re two very different artists. Poppy is a bubblegum pop singer-turned-heavy metal hero who can open up a circle pit at her concert in seconds. On the other hand, Lynn Gunn and Pvris are electropop icons with a bit of emo. You know, as evidenced by their slot on the “Sad Summer Festival tour” later this year!

Of course, these distinctive musical styles make the “Godless/Goddess tour” unique. They’ll play off each other’s energy as the crowd screams along to Poppy’s hard rock choruses one moment before dancing along to electropop essentials from Pvris the next. And there may be even more overlap than you’d expect, as let’s not forget that the Grammy-nominated Poppy dabbled in electronica and traditional pop before entering industrial music territory!
Speaking of Poppy, she can’t wait to continue playing her heavy metal hits to big crowds! She did some aesthetic revamp with her third album, 2020’s I Disagree, which took an industrial and metal turn from her previously synthpop style. She’s become a role model for all types of women in rock, including Gunn! She and Pvris will add a lighter, pop-punk sound to the stage as they work through singles like “Old Wounds,” “You And I,” and “Holy.” And then there are the new songs from their upcoming fourth album, Evergreen, which is set for release in July 2023.
Whether you’re attending the Godless/Goddess tour for Poppy or Pvris, you’ll be a fan of both by the time you leave the show! This will be an electrifying concert packed with female empowerment and fierce rock hits, and you shouldn’t wait to get your tickets. Check below to see if they’re coming to your city!
