Pierce The Veil and The Used 2023 Tour Announcement – The Creative Control Tour
Calling all emo kids, The Used and Pierce The Veil are heading on “The Creative Control tour!” The two post-hardcore groups will kick off on May 23rd in Cedar Park, TX, continuing through July 2nd in Phoenix, AZ.
“We are more than excited for our first tour with Pierce the Veil,” says Bert McCracken of The Used. “We’ve been friends for a long time, and I know this will be a tour to remember. We can’t wait for you to hear some new music! We are so f***ing stoked and will see you there!” Indeed, the two bands have crossed paths dozens of times over the years. From headlining the main stage at the Warped Tour (RIP) to other rock festivals like Aftershock and When We Were Young, it’s a shock that they’ve never toured together!

But that all changes in the summer of 2023, and we can’t wait to hear all-new rock hits from some of the best emo icons in the world. Did you know that it’s been six long years since Pierce The Veil released an album or embarked on a full-length tour? Vic Fuentes and co. are more than ready to hit the road in support of their fifth and latest record, The Jaws of Life, featuring singles like “Pass the Nirvana,” “Emergency Contact,” and “Even When I’m Not With You.”
As for The Used? The veteran emo group has stayed plenty busy over the past couple of years! They’ve toured with big names like A Day to Remember in support of their latest album, 2020’s Heartwork. Additionally, Bert McCracken and co. are set to release their ninth album, Toxic Positivity, later this year. Their 2000s songs were essential for any emo kid of the era, and you likely remember a few. “The Taste of Ink,” “I Caught Fire,” and “The Bird and the Worm,” anyone? But The Used is also ready to share a few new songs, taking you back to your teenage years while reminding you that emo is still very much alive.
The Used and Pierce the Veil both have old and new songs to debut, so what are you waiting for? The Creative Control Tour is selling out fast, so don’t forget to grab your tickets now for the following cities:
