Phoebe Bridgers 2021 Tour Announcement – Reunion Tour Schedule
Indie-rock darling Phoebe Bridgers is ready for the Reunion tour this fall, announcing 25 dates alongside special guest Muna. Performances begin on September 3rd in St. Louis, MO, and do a wrap-around across the US before ending in Washington, DC, on October 26th.
What is this Phoebe Bridgers tour reuniting, exactly? Fan and artist, among other things. Live music is slowly returning after 2020 shut down venues across the country, and Bridgers has some exciting things on the horizon.
Her 2021 performances will feature a solid mix of festival appearances (Bonnaroo, Pitchfork, and ACL) and headlining shows – including her first solo concert at the Greek Theatre in her hometown of Los Angeles.
Bridgers planned to tour with The 1975 in the summer of 2020, only for this trek to be canceled. However, she still had a busy year. The singer released her second album Punisher in June 2020, with critics praising her indie rock, folk, and occasionally emo hits that perfectly fit such a strange year.
Singles like “Kyoto,” “Garden Song,” and “I Know The End” from Punisher are pretty symbolic of Bridgers’s artistry, but she still can surprise fans. Since the release of her debut album in 2017, she’s formed two bands that she juggles along with her solo career.
Boygenius is a supergroup that Bridgers sings in with (ironically female) musicians Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker. At the same time, Better Oblivion Community Center is a duo with Bright Eyes frontman and emo legend Conor Oberst. Will Phoebe Bridgers be playing a few shows with these groups after her solo Reunion tour? Only time will tell.
