One of the best jam bands of all time is heading back on the road this spring. Will you be attending the 2022 Phish tour? Check them out beginning April 20th with a four-night event at Madison Square Garden in New York City, followed by over four months of shows before they wrap up on September 4th in Commerce City, CA.
In typical Phish fashion, they’re playing multiple nights in all your favorite cities. The Madison Square Garden shows were rescheduled from New Year’s Eve 2021, while they’re also doing three nights in Orange Beach, AL, for Memorial Day Weekend and a late-summer bash in Atlantic City on August 5-7th. Any fan knows that no Phish concert is ever the same, which is even more reason to attend every standalone and multi-night show on this Phish tour.
With 39 years, 15 studio albums, and thousands of concerts under their belt, there’s no denying the legacy of Trey Anastasio and his bandmates. Their blend of progressive, psychedelic, and funk rock has gained them a cult following, in large part due to their live shows.
Those who were lucky enough to see them in the 1990s recall how they encouraged fans to record their shows and post them online, long before livestreaming rose to prominence. They also switched up the setlist night after night to deliver the ultimate Phish tour experience, and continue to do so in 2022. Just Google their annual “musical costume” that takes place on Halloween each year, and you’ll see exactly why people travel from all over the world for a Phish concert.
