Odesza 2022 Tour Announcement – The Last Goodbye Tour Schedule
Odesza is embarking on The Last Goodbye tour in summer 2022, supporting the EDM duo’s upcoming album of the same name. You can see them beginning July 29th in Seattle, WA, with visits to cities like Dallas, TX, New York, NY, Chicago, IL, and more before wrapping up on September 30th in San Francisco, CA.
First and foremost, don’t let the tour’s name trick you into thinking Odesza is breaking up… because they’re just getting started! The duo, composed of Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight, are celebrating the tenth anniversary of the EDM outfit this year and have exciting things planned for the first post-pandemic Odesza tour. New tracks, new friends, and new ways to dance are just the beginning of The Last Goodbye trek, and you can see the EDM duo as you’ve never seen them before.
“It’s been a long time coming,” the band wrote on Instagram about the Odesza tour announcement. It’s not a lie, as Mills and Knight are just returning from a five-year hiatus. It’s been a while since they released their 2017 record, A Moment Apart, which reached No.1 on the Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart and helped them achieve mainstream success. The Last Goodbye will have big shoes to fill when the fourth Odeszma record is released in July 2022, but if the singles are any indication… we’re in for EDM beats unlike any other.
“Better Now,” “Love Letter,” and the titular track have all received great reviews from fans and critics, while the group has been open about their growth as artists over the years. ”Over the past few years, we’ve been able to reflect on who we are, what it means to do what we do, and at the end, who we are doing this for,” Odesza told EDM Identity.
“We became focused and inspired by the impact our families and friends have imprinted on us and how we want to continue to echo that out as we move through this life. We found comfort in the fact that those who we love stay with us, that they become intrinsically part of us, in a way.” The devastation of the pandemic disrupted even the most upbeat of EDM tunes, but Odesza is coming back to the stage with a bang. Expect a light show of epic proportions with new EDM beats and dances with your best friends!
