Oceans Calling Festival 2023 Lineup and Ticket Schedule
The second-annual Oceans Calling Festival is only a few months away! Taking place on September 30-October 2nd in Ocean City, MD, the headliners include Jack Johnson, Alanis Morissette, John Mayer, The Lumineers, and Incubus.
And believe it or not, that’s just the beginning of this stacked lineup that’s heavy on reggae and rock. You’ll also get to see Slightly Stoopid, Third Eye Blind, Noah Kahan, Sheryl Crow, Weezer, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats…need we go on? They’ll all settle into the stages along the quaint town of Ocean City. As the name suggests, it’s known for its breezy backdrops, including carnival rides and incredible water views as you soak in all your favorite songs.
There’s no shortage of oceanside music festivals, such as Sea. Hear. Now. and Reggae Rise Up. But how is it, we must wonder, that nobody realized until now that Maryland was made for your festival needs? The state is far less crowded than Los Angeles or Atlantic City while delivering all the same oceanside performance perks.
Morissette and The Lumineers discovered this last year when they headlined the inaugural Oceans Calling festival. And they liked it so much; they couldn’t help but return in 2023! While the event isn’t confined to one specific genre, you’ll likely notice a lot of reggae and soft rock on the lineup. You’ll be able to mosh in the crowd one moment before swaying your hands up the next, and we love that for you.
Of course, you’ll also need your hands free at some point for the premium experiences at Oceans Calling. These include dozens of food vendors that offer delicious burgers, fries, seafood, and more, plus selfie stations and merch stands to help you let loose with your friends! It’s just like a normal beach day, except with the world’s biggest artists mere feet from you as you enjoy a personal concert over the Maryland sunset. What’s not to love?
