Nine Inch Nails 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Nine Inch Nails have announced dates for their first trek since 2018, and it’s going to be one of the biggest rock tours of 2022. You can see the industrial rock group beginning April 28th in Raleigh, NC, with stops in Morrison, CO, Las Vegas, NV, Franklin, TN, and more before the final show on September 24th near their hometown of Cleveland, OH.
After cancelling tours in 2020 and 2021 over health concerns, Trent Reznor and his bandmates are more than ready to return to the stage. Nine Inch Nails released their latest two albums, Ghosts V: Together and Ghosts VI: Locusts, respectively, in March 2020 as a free download in a show of solidarity for their fans amid the pandemic. This act solidified the type of band they’ve always been.
Reznor and co. are supportive, soothing, and sympathetic on these ambiant albums – despite the industrial rock beats and often-aggressive lyrics that have become their staple. These 2020 records serve as follow-ups to their 2008 instrumental record, Ghosts I–IV, and make you wonder if they’re going for more of a “moshing” or “meditation” vibe on this Nine Inch Nails tour. If you ask us, both are the best option!
Ambiance is essential for Trent Reznor, who has won major awards for his original film scores. He earned a Grammy in 2010 for The Social Network, and later an Academy Award for his work on the 2020 Pixar film Soul alongside Atticus Ross and Jon Batiste. While these projects display his mellow side, you can also expect to mosh on this Nine Inch Nails tour.
You can’t go wrong with their rock hits that have made Nine Inch Nails legendary in the music scene. They’ll likely play classics like “The Hand That Feeds,” “Closer,” “March of the Pigs” and “Head Like a Hole” on this Nine Inch Nails tour, starting a circle pit that you simply need to see. But they can easily do an interlude with one of their instrumental songs from 2020, before making the crowd go wild with more new tunes.
Reznor said in a 2020 interview that he planned to start on new music “as soon as probably tomorrow.” While no release date has been announced for their twelfth album, new songs sound likely on this Nine Inch Nails tour! It’s been far too long since we saw Reznor and co. take the stage, and you need to see the Cleveland-based band in 2022. Check the following dates and get your tickets!
