Nathaniel Rateliff and My Morning Jacket 2024 Tour Announcement – Eye to Eye Tour Schedule
Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats and My Morning Jacket are teaming up for the ultimate co-headlining tour, dubbed “Eye to Eye!” The two rock acts will kick off on September 10th in Wilmington, NC, stopping in Alpharetta, GA, Nashville, TN, and Columbia, MD, before concluding on the 28th in Raleigh, NC.
“We are long-time lovers of My Morning Jacket, and over the years have grown a close friendship,” says Nathaniel Rateliff. “It’s so special to become friends with musicians and peers that you admire and we’re looking forward to bringing our love for each other on the road.” While they have differing styles that range from Americana and blue-eyed soul (Rateliff) to indie and Southern riffs (My Morning Jacket), both of their music comes down to one thing: rocking out like there is no tomorrow.
And luckily for their adoring fans, the two groups intend to do just that on the Eye to Eye tour. “We were lucky enough to see Nathaniel and some of the Night Sweats at Preservation Hall in New Orleans some years ago-our minds were blown, our hearts were opened, and we got swept up in the joy of it all,” said My Morning Jacket’s Jim James. “We are so happy to share the stage with these fine folks for a run full of peace, love, music, and fun!”
With their mutual admiration of each other — and Southern-style amalgamation of rock that makes you want to sip beer, nod your head, and tap your feet — this is the ideal artist mashup. Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats will play their greatest hits from the past decade and beyond, including last year’s five-song EP, What If! Featuring Rateliff’s gruff but gorgeous voice over the most soulful verses, it’s easy to see why the group is on the lineup at nearly all Americana music festivals.
And it’s more than time for another headlining tour from Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. Or rather, co-headlining, as My Morning Jacket also has a sensational setlist planned! Their performances are nothing less than psychedelic — from their light shows and prismatic outfits to the out-of-this-world anthems that we’ve loved for over 25 years. Expect to hear tracks from their ninth self-titled album, released in 2021, along with older favorites like “Worldless Chorus,” “Dondante,” and “Golden.”
Both headliners bring their own distinctive brand of rock to the stage, plus their respective fanbases that have followed them through countless albums and eras.
