Memphis May Fire and Atreyu 2023 Tour Announcement – We Want Your Misery Tour Schedule
We can hear the mosh pits already! Memphis May Fire and Atreyu have announced a co-headlining tour for the fall of 2023, and it’s a big deal for any Metalcore fan. Joined by Catch Your Breath and Another Day Dawns, they’ll begin on August 27th in Ventura, CA, and continue through September 26th in Bozeman, MT.
As some of the most recognizable names in Metalcore, Memphis May Fire and Atreyu go way back. Over the decades, they’ve shared the stage at some of the country’s top rock festivals, along with embarking on their own co-headlining tours! If you’re a fan of one of these groups, there’s a very strong chance that you’re also fond of the other. And they’re totally okay with this comparison.
That is, as long as it means they get to tour with their good friends and play to thousands of people each night! Both bands have been thriving on their own treks, and supporting new releases, over the past year, but they had to make time for another cross-country trip together. Just ask Atreyu, who just announced their third new EP set for release in 2023! They already put out a four-song record, The Hope of A Spark, earlier this year, and have two more new projects in the pipeline.
These include another EP, The Moment You Find Your Flame, along with a full-length album, The Beautiful Dark of Life, to follow up 2021’s Baptize. These albums are all a part of Atreyu’s “Seasons of Life” concept series, which aims to instill self-worth and eliminate self doubts in every listener. It’s some of the most powerful work in Atreyu’s 25-year career, and they can’t wait for you to hear it!
“Everything that we have put out to this point has built up to this moment,” says Atreyu guitarist Dan Jacobs. “Something special is happening with Atreyu right now. We can feel the creativity and collaboration when the five of us get in the studio. We can feel the confidence we all give each other when we stand on stage together. And we can see it in the audience when they’re losing their minds. They’re having as good a time as we are ourselves.” You can say that again!
As for Memphis May Fire? They’ve been touring nonstop in support of their seventh album, 2022’s Remade in Misery, and aren’t ready to stop yet. The record received grand reviews from publications like New Noise and Wall of Sound, while fans can’t get enough of singles like “Blood & Water,” “Death Inside,” and “The American Dream.” Memphis May Fire delivers melodic Metalcore and a blend of newness and nostalgia with every song, and we’re obsessed.
