Masego is finally making his way to the US in spring 2023 on his “You Never Visit Me tour!” The R&B singer with hints of hip-hop and jazz will begin on March 12th in Las Vegas, NV, and continue for over a month before concluding on April 28th in Los Angeles, CA.
“To everyone that says I never tour in AMERICA, this is not a drill; I am going on tour in the states,” Masego wrote on Instagram, playfully teasing about how he spent most of last year in Europe. However, don’t forget that he was on US soil a decent amount too! American fans saw him perform at Coachella alongside Harry Styles and Billie Eilish. At the same time, he also played other events like the Broccoli City Festival in Washington, DC, and Atlanta Jazz Festival in Georgia. It’s been a minute since he visited cities like Miami, FL, and Charlotte, NC, but he’s finally making his way around the US on the aptly-titled “You Never Visit Me tour.”
This tour is named for his brand-new single and music video, which shows the Jamaican singer contemplating amid an island paradise. The R&B track features fast-paced rap verses and Masego’s signature use of saxophone, giving listeners a sneak peek of what’s to come in 2023. It’s been a while since the 29-year-old singer released his debut album, 2018’s Lady Lady, but he’s finally slated to come out with his sophomore project this year. And if “You Never Visit Me” and the first single, “ “Say You Want Me,” is any indication, it’s going to be an incredible album that was well worth the wait!
