Maroon 5 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Maroon 5 has announced a new set of tour dates in support of their seventh album, Jordi, and it’s never been a better time to see Adam Levine and his bandmates. The new Maroon 5 concerts kick off on July 30th in Portland, OR, and continue through August 20th in Montreal, QC.
“I’m so ready to get out there, and make people move and have fun,” Levine told Z100 New York in May 2021, shortly before they kicked off their first post-pandemic Maroon 5 tour. ”Our ultimate goal is to just have that cathartic moment with fans in person. To me, that is everything.” Cathartic moments were plentiful as the band journeyed across the world, playing their pop-rock hits to packed crowds for the first time in years. It’s natural that they’re not ready to stop performing yet, and you still have plenty of chances to see one of the world’s biggest bands.
Jordi was released in mid-2021 and has sentimental meaning behind the catchy beats and Adam Levine’s sky-high vocals. It’s named for Jordan Feldstein, the band’s late manager and best friend (also brother to Jonah Hill and Beanie Feldstein) who passed away in 2017. They wrote the song “Memories” specifically about Feldstein, while the entire album is inspired by their longtime connection with the talent manager. He may be gone, but Maroon 5 has ensured that he’ll never be forgotten… and it’s one of the most beautiful things about Jordi.
Of course, don’t think that the album won’t make you want to dance. Songs like “Beautiful Mistake” and “Memories” infuse electropop and tropical house into the band’s previously pop-rock hits. The record even features vocals from Megan Thee Stallion, Stevie Nicks, H.E.R., and more to represent a true mix of genres and a new musical era for Maroon 5. You’ll hear these new hits blended with old favorites like “Moves Like Jagger” and “This Love,” and it’s all that you could want out of the 2022 Maroon 5 tour.
