Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top 2024 Tour Announcement – Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour Schedule
Say yes to a second dose of Southern rock! Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top are heading out in 2024 for another leg of the “Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour.” The two iconic bands will begin on March 8th in Savannah, GA, continuing through September 22nd in Ridgefield, WA.

We’re bringing the Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour with @ZZTop to a city near you in 2024,” Lynyrd Skynyrd wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “We can’t wait to celebrate 50 Years of Skynyrd with you!” For over half a century, the “Sweet Home Alabama” rockers have given us a taste of Southern charm in every way. And things only got more rowdy and rock and roll this year when they teamed up with ZZ Top.
The two bands took the stage together each night with thousands of roaring, adoring crowds. Each has their own vibe — ZZ Top as the Texas-based band with the matching long beards, and Lynyrd Skynyrd as the OG country-rock legends you know and love. However, it’s easy to bond when you share a love for roaring guitars, country-filled lyrics, and the loving fans who have supported you for decades.
Both groups have celebrated their 50th anniversaries in recent years, albeit in bittersweet circumstances. ZZ Top is still mourning the loss of their original member, Dusty Hill, who passed away in 2021. As they perform their greatest hits, like “Sharp Dressed Man,” “La Grange,” and “Legs,” each night, it’s always with their late brother in mind. And the love will be felt throughout every venue as they continue on the next leg of the Sharp Dressed Simple Man tour.
