Lynyrd Skynyrd 2022 Tour Announcement – Big Wheels Keep On Turnin’ Tour Schedule
Lynyrd Skynyrd has added another leg to their Big Wheels Keep On Turnin’ tour, and it’s a grand time to see the Southern rockers in your city. They’ll kick off the trek on April 9th in Scottsdale, AZ, and continue through September 23rd in Sparks, NV.
“Skynyrd Nation, we’re getting back on tour!” the band wrote on the Lynyrd Skynyrd Instagram page. “Check out when The Big Wheels Keep On Turning Tour rolls through your city.” With stops in Fresno, CA, Allentown, PA, Bridgeport, CT, and more, the group is playing smaller cities than the huge arenas from 2021. However, this is likely deliberate. They want to guarantee that everybody has the chance to see them shred through “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Free Bird” onstage, and we love them for it!
The 2021 Lynyrd Skynyrd tour was one of the first post-pandemic treks, beginning in June and only coming to a halt when guitarist Rickey Medlocke tested positive for COVID-19 in early August. They headed back on tour as soon as he was feeling better and clearly aren’t ready to wrap up just yet. They’ll be joined by Don Felder, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Outlaws, and more for a country-rock fest with the best!
