Leann Rimes is hitting the road for “The Story…So Far tour,” a celebration of her latest album and quarter-century in the music industry. The multiplatinum songstress will kick off the trek on May 13th in Mashantucket, CT, and make 13 stops before wrapping up on July 16th in New Buffalo, MI.
“The Story…So Far” tour will tell the story of Rimes’ impressive career over the past 25 years and give a glimpse into her new music,” states a press release. “Throughout this past year, the singer-songwriter has been celebrating her monumentous 25th anniversary as a recording artist, commemorating the release of her debut album Blue, which made an ever-lasting impact on the music industry.”
It’s not an exaggeration, as anybody who grew up in the 1990s or early 2000s understands the impact of Leann Rimes. Maybe you listened to “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” millions of times as you replayed the film Coyote Ugly, along with her other hits like “I Need You,” “How Do I Live,” and “Cattle Call.” Her music has ventured between traditional country, country-pop, dance, and even contemporary Christian in recent years, spanning over 17 studio albums and nearly 40 million records sold.
