LANY 2024 Tour Announcement – A Beautiful Blur Tour Schedule
LANY is taking its show on the road with the “A Beautiful Blur Tour!” The pop-rock duo will begin on February 13th in Raleigh, NC, making 30+ stops before concluding on April 12th in New York City.
While their band name combines the acronyms of Los Angeles, their HQ, and New York, LANY will hit up all your favorite cities in support of their fifth record. Paul Klein and Jake Goss are still reeling from the release of A Beautiful Blur last month! Featuring pop-rock power bops like “Love At First Fight,” “Alonica,” “Home Is Where The Hurt Is,” and “XXL,” it may just be their most obnoxiously catchy album yet. It took them two years and one band member down (Les Priest left LANY in 2022) to get here, but they’re only looking up on their latest album cycle.
“I think “Love At First Fight” is pretty indicative of where we went sonically on the album,” Klein told American Songwriter earlier this year. “I think that’s why we chose it first. I hope it’s the perfect amount of shocking and familiar if that makes sense. Some balance between, ‘Oh, that’s that familiar sound that I’ve like grown to love from the guys, but I can tell that they’re pushing the boundaries here and this feels like shockingly new and slightly different.” And I think that’s where we’ve gone on this album as well.”
They remain some of the best pop-rock players in the game, and there’s no denying that the latest LANY record has upgraded their aesthetic in every way. Klein and Goss continue to enhance their relatable lyrics, dance-worthy beats, and endless musical feats at every turn! They just performed “XXL” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, while nearly all their singles have received cinematic music videos that display what LANY is all about. As much as we loved their last project, 2021’s gg bb xx, it’s clear as day that a new band era is on the way.
