Lamb of God and Mastodon 2024 Tour Announcement – Ashes of Leviathan Tour Schedule
Metalheads, are you ready for some monumental news? Lamb of God and Mastodon are co-headlining the “Ashes of Leviathan tour,” a mosh-worthy celebration guaranteed to have your ears ringing for days! Joined by Malevolence, Unearth, and Slayer guitarist Kerry King, the two groups will kick off on July 19th in Grand Prairie, TX, continuing through August 31st in Omaha, NE.
The first thing to know about the Ashes of Leviathan tour? It’s a joining of heavy metal forces in more ways than one. The tour name is derived from two of the genre’s most epic albums released in 2004, Lamb of God’s Ashes of the Wake and Mastodon’s Leviathan, both of which influenced an entire generation of head-bangers. This kind of legacy is more than deserving of a two-decade celebration, don’t you think? Therefore, the two headliners will play their respective albums in their entirety for a night of nostalgia and never-ending metal.
The heavy hits just won’t stop coming on the Ashes of Leviathan tour, whether you’re a fan of the Richmond, Virginia-bred Lamb of God, Georgia-born metalheads in Mastodon, or both. Ashes of The Wake contains hard-hitting tracks like “Laid to Rest” and “Now You’ve Got Something to Die For,” both of which have been setlist staples at Lamb of God concerts for years now. This includes their recent stint opening for Pantera on their reunion tour, along with other high-profile expeditions alongside Megadeth, Ice Nine Kills and more.

As for Mastodon? They’ve hardly been slacking throughout the 2020s. The GRAMMY nominees have played major music festivals and headlining shows, and released their eighth album, Hushed and Grim, back in 2021! Of course, while their recent accolades are more than impressive, this tour is primarily a nod to the past that helped them become one of the top metal bands in the country. Who can forget the most epic tracks off Leviathan, like “Iron Tusk,” “Naked Burn,” and “Blood and Thunder?”
You’ll hear all these tracks and more on the Ashes of Leviathan tour, as Lamb of God and Mastodon guide you through heavy metal history like the guitar gods they are. Do you have your sign of the horns ready? Get your tickets now for the following dates….
