Keith Urban 2022 Las Vegas – Caesar’s Palace Residency Schedule

Keith Urban is heading back to Las Vegas for a five-show residency at Caesar’s Palace – marking the country superstar’s first return to Sin City since before the pandemic. These shows begin on September 17th, and continue through the 25th for a one-week engagement that you can’t miss. 

While Urban has been performing for over 30 years, it wasn’t until 2020 that he decided to do a Las Vegas residency, somewhat of a “rite of passage” for the world’s biggest performers. He told Rolling Stone in January 2020 that it was the Colosseum in Caesar’s Palace that finally convinced him to make the commitment.

“I think what I love about it, it’s three venues in one,” Urban told the publication. “You’ve got an arena stage that truly is, I mean the production you can put on a stage is massive. You’ve got a lot of theater seating and a theater vibe, but then you’ve also got this club happening down on the floor where everybody’s standing.” He continued by saying “it’s rowdy, it’s a raucous vibe. The three venues that I love playing the most are all in one place.”

Indeed, Urban has played hundreds of venues over his three-decade career, and he seems to have found a true home in the Colosseum. While the original dates for a Keith Urban tour were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he’s returning to Las Vegas with a newfound appreciation for performing… and the versatility that can be found in this city. 

“The audience is quite diverse,” Urban told Rolling Stone when asked why so many country artists were booking Las Vegas residencies. “We have, obviously, people that love more of the country side of what I do. People that love more of the pop-esque side of what I do. All the stuff that doesn’t really fit into any genre or category. It’s great to be able to hit all the targets.”
