Judas Priest 2024 Tour Announcement – Invincible Shield Tour Schedule
On your mark, metalheads! Judas Priest is heading on the “Invincible Shield Tour” in 2024, and it’s destined to be an insane experience for the iconic heavy metal band. Joined by Sabaton, they’ll begin on April 18th in Wallingford, CT, continuing through May 22nd in Syracuse, NY.
Those who saw them at the inaugural Power Trip music festival last month know that Judas Priest is in their prime. Not only is their onstage demeanor just as much (if not more) of a vision than it was decades ago, but they also have new music on the way! The group is set to release its nineteenth album, Invincible Shield, in March. And if lead singles like “Panic Attack” and “Trial by Fire” are any indication, Judas Priest is in one of its most exciting eras yet.
For the record, that’s saying a lot, as Judas Priest has been killing it for half a century. They’re in the same realm as Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden when it comes to their influence on heavy metal! And as they enter a new chapter with Invincible Shield, you can expect even more thrashing guitars, sky-high vocals, and studded leather attire. It’s always their goal to top each album with an even better one, even if that was more complicated this time around.
“It’s sounding fantastic. It’s sounding great,” Judas Priest singer Rob Halford told Blabbermouth earlier this year. “Obviously, I’m gonna say that, but if it didn’t sound great, we wouldn’t be bothering. You’ve gotta do something that we think is better than the last one so to speak. And if it wasn’t, Priest don’t need to do that.” No hate to their last album, 2018’s Firepower, but this new project is shaping up to be one of their best yet. We can’t wait to hear these new tracks alive, along with older favorites like “Breaking The Law,” “Turbo Lover,” “Painkiller” and more.
