Jon Batiste 2024 Tour Announcement – Uneasy Tour Schedule
Jon Batiste is all set for his first-ever headlining tour! The R&B singer will begin the trek, dubbed “Uneasy Tour: Purifying the Airwaves for the People,” on February 16th in Portland, OR. He’ll stop in 20+ cities including Denver, CO, Chicago, IL, New York, NY, and more before concluding on March 27th in Austin, TX.
“I’m into numbers, so: 20 theaters and 24 performances to bless the pivotal year 2024,” Batiste told Associated Press in a statement. “For my first solo run I wanted to play in smaller venues and curate experiences that let me really feel the people while I play. Think of these 24 shows less as a tour and more as a series of 24 not to be missed experiences, each being one-of-a-kind.”
“We are designing these performances to be catalysts to bring people together, raise awareness for things I care about and inspire change in this country, and the world.” Half musician and half philanthropist, Jon Batiste has made it his mission to inspire kindness, strength, and resilience in others all throughout this career. And he’s done just that and so much more with his seventh album, World Music Radio.
Featuring singles like “Calling Your Name” and “Drink Water,” this liberating record is an exploration of not only Batiste’s professional and personal being but also his backdrops. He has no qualms singing about the world as we know it — the good, the bad, and the downright ugly. And his authenticity and talent has since earned him a whopping six GRAMMY® nominations for 2024, including Album of the Year.

Along with being a regular member of the band on Stephen Colbert’s late-night talk show for years, he also composed the score for Pixar’s Soul back in 2020 alongside Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, earning him an Academy Award, Grammy, and Golden Globe!
More recently, he released the autobiographical film, American Symphony, which chronicles his struggles as he balances his career and his wife’s cancer treatments.
