Jill Scott has rescheduled the “Who is Jill Scott? Tour” for early 2023! The iconic R&B and soul singer is celebrating the anniversary of her album of the same name, beginning February 28th in Augusta, GA, and continuing through June 22nd in Los Angeles, CA.
Scott was initially meant to tour back in 2020, celebrating two decades of her debut album, Who Is Jill Scott?: Words and Sounds Vol. 1. Unfortunately, she had to cancel these dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but promised her fans that she’d be back and better than ever. Needless to say, she intends to keep that promise with visits to Philadelphia, PA. Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA, and more! She’ll be singing some of her biggest hits, like “Jilltro,” “Gettin’ in the Way,” and “It’s Love,” which give insight into the start of her spectacular career.
“Based on all the Instagram comments and the emails we’ve been receiving, I’m going to go on tour,” Scott said in a statement, “We were going to do the entire album from beginning to end because people really seemed to love it, and we wanted to present it that way.” “It’s great musicianship. It’s a lot of energy and sincerity oozing all over the stage.
