Jack White 2022 Tour Announcement – The Supply Chain Issues Tour Schedule
Jack White has announced dates for “The Supply Chain Issues” world tour, marking his first trek in four years and one of the most anticipated rock tours of 2022. These concerts kick off on April 8th in Detroit, MI, and hit all the major cities before wrapping up on August 29th in Kansas City, MO.
This Jack White tour supports the rocker’s upcoming EPs, Fear of the Dawn and Entering Heaven Alive. While he’s taken a break from performing since 2018, the former White Stripes guitarist has been hard at work on new music – and can’t wait for his longtime fans to hear these tracks.
The Supply Chain Issues tour begins with a release party for Fear of the Dead, while White will release the second EP in July 2022. Fans have already sampled a few new songs after White released them in late 2020, including “Taking Me Back” and its sister track “Taking Me Back (Gently).” And then there’s the single “Hi-De-Ho” featuring hip-hop star Q-Tip, which provides more of the rock-rap collaborations that you’re becoming used to in the 2020s.
Just how much has Jack White’s solo style changed since he released his last solo EP, Boarding House Reach, in 2018? It’s too early to say, but he’s come a long way from being the 2000s rocker who played “Seven Nation Army” to indie kids worldwide. His stints in White Stripes and the Raconteurs made him famous, but the 44-year-old also has side gigs as a record label founder (Third Man Records!), design studio owner, and certified super dad.
He’s a certified musical legend and entrepreneur in his own right, and we’ve missed seeing Jack White on the stage. He’s one of the best tenors in rock who can sing just as well live as he does on the album, and don’t even get us started on his skills as a guitarist that earned him countless accolades. “Seven Nation Army” it is not, but these new Jack White songs will remind you why the 46-year-old is so beloved in the rock scene, even after four years.
