Interpol and Spoon 2022 Tour Announcement – Lights, Camera, Faction Tour Schedule
Interpol and Spoon are coming together for the Lights, Camera, Faction tour in late summer 2022! See the two veteran indie rock bands beginning August 25th in Asbury Park, NJ, with shows running through September 18th in Portland, OR.
You may be surprised to see this Interpol and Spoon tour announcement, as both groups already have their own headlining treks happening in spring 2022. The latter is supporting their tenth album, Lucifer on the Sofa, which Rolling Stone lovingly called “the best thing they’ve ever done.” Meanwhile, Interpol told the same publication how excited they are to play their first post-pandemic shows, especially with new music on the horizon.
“I feel like there’s going to be a rare moment between the audience and the performer, where each one of you and us onstage are all coming at it from the same place,” Interpol guitarist Daniel Kessler said in November 2021. “There’s going to be a deep mutual appreciation. I just can’t wait.”
The feeling is mutual, particularly since Interpol is just about ready to release their much-anticipated seventh album, The Other Side of Make-Believe. Written during the pandemic, the band has expressed that they aimed for an “uplifting” tone amongst all the sorrow of 2020. If the new single “Toni” is any indication, they seem to have succeeded. The album will be released in full in July 2022, just in time to be played live on the Lights, Camera, Faction tour.
Between Lucifer on the Sofa and The Other Side of Make-Believe, you’ll see a whole new side of Spoon and Interpol on the Lights, Camera, Faction tour. Get your tickets now for the following dates!
