In This Moment and Ice Nine Kills 2023 Tour Announcement – Kiss of Death Tour Schedule
In This Moment and Ice Nine Kills are embarking on a scary good co-headlining trek, dubbed the “Kiss of Death Tour!” Joined by Avatar and New Year’s Day, the two metal bands will begin on November 3rd in Gary, IN. They’ll make 22 stops before concluding on December 2nd in Wheeling, WV.
“Psychos: we’ll be ending 2023 with the soon-to-be legendary ‘Kiss Of Death Tour’,” Ice Nine Kills wrote on Instagram. “Join INK and @InThisMomentOfficial, with special guests @Avatarmetal and @nydrock, as we creep through the country for the final time this year!” New Years Day frontwoman Ash Costello followed up with a comment stating, “This is going to be KILLER,” and we detect no lies!
All bands on the Kiss of Death Tour are known for their macabre musical style and stage presence. And we have no doubts that this will be the best type of bloodbath. Just ask In This Moment, who have released all sorts of industrial metal bangers over nearly two decades. Their last full-length album was 2020’s Mother, whole they released the Blood 1983 EP last year. Meanwhile, In This Moment is also set to release its eighth album, Godmode, later in 2023.

They’ve just unveiled the first single, “The Purge,” in the form of a cryptic music video and a live debut on their co-headlining trek with Motionless in White. In This Moment also opened up a bit about the new single, which serves as a gateway into Godmode. “I am so grateful for how everything flowed to bring this song to life, both sonically and visually,” vocalist Maria Brink told Blabbermouth. “The underlying message of the song is to not fall too deeply into the rabbit hole, everything is about finding balance.”
“I had a lot of emotions building within me when I approached the song for the first time and after years of holding it all in I finally got to let it out! Enjoy.” Indeed, this song is a part of their first full-length, post-pandemic album… and Brink and her bandmates are holding nothing back! The Mother of Industrial Metal will bring the stage to life with new favorites plus older tracks like “Blood,” “Roots,” and “Adrenalize.” And we can’t wait to see these ghoulishly good onstage moments manifest.

Then there’s Ice Nine Kills, the Salem, MA-based metalcore band who have based their entire two-decade catalog on the best horror films. Seriously, you’ll lose your mind with these slash-worthy songs. Don’t believe us? Let’s look at their sixth and latest release, 2021’s The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood. “Hip To Be Scared” with Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach is based on American Psycho and has a cinematographic music video to prove it.
Meanwhile, “Funeral Derangements” is a tribute to Stephen King’s Pet Sematary, while The Shower Scene practically speaks for itself. You’ll get it when Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas brings out a shower curtain onstage and re-enacts the iconic bloody scene from Psycho! Their entire set is half rock concert and half stage show, bringing out the best horror movie props intertwined with horrifically grand heavy metal.
The bottom line? The Kiss of Death tour isn’t for the faint of heart, but those who can handle the gory onstage antics will have one hell of a good time! Get your tickets to see In This Moment and Ice Nine Kills today in the following cities.
