In This Moment 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
In This Moment has announced a 12-date trek for May 2022, joined by fellow hard rock heroes Bad Omens and Ded. They’ll begin performing on the 13th in Poughkeepsie, NY, and conclude on the 29th in Portland, ME.
The alt-metal group has been touring the world since live music returned last summer. In This Moment played the In-Between tour with Black Veil Brides in fall 2021 and announced their slot on Slipknot’s iconic Knotfest show shortly afterward. In fact, the new In This Moment tour takes off barely a month after they wrap up on Knotfest! It’s safe to say that they’re more than making up for lost time, and this brief expedition will be one of the best metal fests of May 2022.
There will be some memorable moments on this In This Moment tour. For one, lead singer Maria Brink has been dating Ded frontman Joe Cotela for years, and we’re holding out hope for live collaboration on their cover of The Cure’s “Love Song.” A dreamy onstage duet that combines rage-filled metal with major romance? We’ll take it.
You can also expect to hear relatively new tracks from In This Moment’s 2020 release, Mother. Their seventh album contains songs like “The In-Between,” “As Above, So Below,” and “Hunting Grounds,” which provide a palette cleanser between the band’s older old alt-metal hits. Will they play some new songs on this In This Moment tour, or are they taking a backseat to new tunes in favor of life on the road for 2022-2023? Only time will tell, but we can’t wait to find out with these amazing metal shows.
