iDKHOW 2024 Tour Announcement – iMPENDING GLOOM Tour Schedule
iDKHOW is set to embark on the “Impending Gloom Tour” this fall! Joined by ALEXSUCKS, the indie pop project fronted by Dallon Weekes will begin on October 26th in Las Vegas, NV. They’ll stop in Mesa, AZ, Baltimore, MD, Rochester, NY, and more before concluding on November 25th in Omaha, NE.
iDKHOW, an abbreviation of I Don’t Know How But They Found Me, is supporting its sophomore album, Gloom Divison, released in February. Coming a full four years after their debut, 2020’s Razzmatazz, there was already plenty of excitement bubbling among the band’s biggest fans. But when you consider the iMPENDING GLOOM tour and chances to hear new singles like “What Love?” “Gloomtown Brats,” and “Infatuation” live for the first time, things take an even more thrilling turn.
The reviews for Gloom Division speak for themselves — with Rolling Stone, Kerrang! and Dork all giving the record a four out of five star rating. Others praised the album for its “infectious indie pop/emo bangers” and sound that “sways between soft and sad to bold and bombastic.” And is there any better way to appeal to the emo crowd? iDKHOW has long been praised for its ability to blend alternative rock, new wave, and pop-punk, but the band will always be emo at heart. And they’re perfectly okay with that.
Of course, they didn’t get to this point without a few bumps along the way. Last year was bittersweet for iDKHOW, as they signed a new deal with Concord Records while also going from a duo to a solo project. Original iDKHOW member Ryan Seaman, who formed the band alongside Weekes back in 2016, left the group after some online controversy. And while people took the news hard, it soon became clear that Weekes was more than capable of working as a solo artist.
Gloom Division is more mature and musically diverse than anything he’s ever done, starting with his time in Panic! at the Disco in the 2010s and later into his first solo project, The Brobecks.
