H.E.R. 2021 Tour Announcement – Back of My Mind Tour Schedule
H.E.R. is all set to head out on the Back of My Mind tour this fall, and we can’t wait to see the highly-acclaimed R&B star in person! Performances begin on October 10th in Franklin, TN, and visit eight cities throughout the month before ending on the 28th in Detroit, MI.
H.E.R., real name Gabi Wilson, has a lot to celebrate in 2021. The R&B hitmaker’s debut album, Back of My Mind, was released in June with excellent reviews and serves as the namesake of this tour. Singles like “Slide,” “Damage,” and “Hold On” will be played for the first time on this trek – demonstrating a prowess from Wilson that Exclaim! described as being “in total control of her sound, with a masterful command of her artistic direction.”
What else has made 2021 special for H.E.R? A Grammy Win for her compilation album, I Used to Know Her, and an Academy Award for the track “Fight For You” featured in Judas and the Black Messiah.
The latter song features powerful lyrical content that has helped establish Wilson as a voice for her generation – and her quest for change is just beginning. H.E.R. even helped establish the Bring the Noise Foundation, a charitable organization that allows donating musical instruments to young artists like her!
Speaking of things that the 24-year-old has launched on her own, you can also catch her performing at the Lights On festival in Wilson’s hometown of Concord, CA. On September 18th and 19th, the lineup features the R&B singer along with friends like Ari Lennox, Ty Dolla $ign, Bryson Tiller, and many more.
