Glass Animals 2024 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Glass Animals are performing across the globe this summer and fall…or more specifically, a “Tour of Earth!” The English alternative rockers will kick off on August 7th in Charlotte, NC, stopping in 26 cities before wrapping up on September 22nd in Austin, TX. Kevin Abstract, Eyedress, Blondshell and The Big Moon will join this Glass Animals tour as support.
Many know Glass Animals from their 2020 hit, “Heat Waves,” which went viral on TikTok and sat at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for five weeks nonstop. And while we’ll always have a soft spot for the band’s signature song, a sexy anthem with over two billion Spotify streams, it’s time for the group to move forward. They’re finally leaving Dreamland, the name of their hit 2020 album that sold over 12 million copies, and entering their I Love You So F***ing Much era.
Set to be released on July 19th, their new album symbolizes their maturity and emergence into a new sector of their career. They’re leaving the pandemic behind and dealing with their newfound fame in a healthier way, which shows on the brand new Glass Animals single, “Creatures In Heaven,” an out-of-this-world tune that tells listeners how a single moment in time can transform your life. Glass Animals frontman Dave Bayley knows this firsthand, which he spoke about in a recent interview.
“Life can change dramatically, but sometimes you aren’t able to change as quickly on a personal level,” Bayley said about Glass Animals’s rise to fame, which he came to terms with during quarantine. “You end up feeling like a spectator. And then you are asked and expected to be a certain type of person, a different person. But…I wasn’t sure how. It confused me to the point of not knowing who I was or if anything was real.”
It wasn’t until he found himself among one of California’s biggest storms that his vision for the next Glass Animals album came to life. He began to reflect on the human experience in every form, from love and passion to isolation and introspection, and that’s when the songs came pouring out. The result? One of the best Glass Animals projects to date that you’ll simply need to hear to believe.
As you await the arrival of I Love You So F***ing Much this summer, why not purchase your Glass Animals tickets for one of the best indie rock shows of 2024? The band is playing some of the largest venues of their career, including the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and Madison Square Garden in New York City. And they can’t wait to have you along for this earthy and introspective ride. Tickets are available starting Thursday, April 11th in the following cities….
