Frank Turner 2022 Tour Announcement – 50 States in 50 Days Tour Schedule
Frank Turner has announced the 50 States in 50 Days tour, an aptly-titled trek that takes him to every US state. Every. Single. One. The punk-folk artist will be joined by The Bronx and Pet Needs on all stops, beginning June 13th in Manchester, NH, and continuing through August 1st in Honolulu, HI.
“Sleeping Souls and I are coming on tour. 50 States in 50 Days!” the British singer wrote on Instagram, referring to his backing band. “I’ve been unable to tour properly for a couple of years now, and always said that when I could get back to it, I’d do it properly, so here we are, folks – every single US state! I can’t wait to bring FTHC to my American friends.”
FTHC is Turner’s ninth studio album, released in February 2022. It features many new singles that stand by his eclectic brand of folk, indie, and punk rock – including “The Gathering” and “Non Serviam.” Written and recorded during the pandemic, he had plenty of materials and emotions to guide him through every guitar and writing session. A lyrical lockdown, if you will.
Many of the 50 States in 50 Days tour stops are acoustic matinee performances, which vary greatly from Turner’s days as lead singer for post-hardcore band Million Dead. He has an appreciation for both mosh pits and mellow evenings, setting him apart from other indie artists, and plans to put his eclectic tastes on display during the Frank Turner tour.
