Two Wiz Khalifa concerts are coming up in the next few months, and we can’t wait to see the top-charting rapper. He’ll be playing Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, on April 18th, plus a show in Knoxville, TN, on May 6th.
We’re still waiting on a headlining tour for 2022, but these two Wiz Khalifa concerts will do for now! Red Rocks Amphitheatre is one of the most beautiful venues in the country, and you can enjoy the 34-year-old rapper’s biggest hits under the stars. We’re talking about “See You Again,” “We Dem Boyz,” and “Sucker For Pain!” Those who can’t make it to Colorado can attend the Wiz Khalifa concert in Tenessee, which will feature a setlist of both old and new hip-hop hits.
While it’s been a while since Wiz Khalifa released his last studio album, 2018’s Rolling Papers 2, he worked alongside longtime collaborators Cardo Got Wings and Sledgren to release a new mixtape last December. Yes, the same ones who produced his breakout mixtape, Kush & Orange Juice, in 2010 that put him on the path to megastardom. They’ve recreated the same musical magic with the latest collaborative effort; Wiz Got Wings, which was always the goal for this project.
“I had done close to 10 mixtapes before I actually came out with Kush & Orange Juice, but I think that was just paving the way for people to see what my actual potential was,” Wiz, born Cameron Jibril Thomaz, told Billboard. “I really found my lane, I found my style. It was just more like a feeling that caught everybody off-guard. Now that they know it, we made something that you can return that feeling to.”
