Foreigner 2021-2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule

Foreigner began their massive 121-date tour in summer 2021, with the North American leg taking the group to more than 70 cities. This Foreigner tour began on June 24th in Ottumwa, IA, and will make stops in Fresno, CA, Lubbock, TX, Corbin, KY, and more before wrapping up the 2021 dates in Pensacola, FL, on November 20th. Fans can also see Foreigner for four Canadian shows in March 2022!

“Live music is at the heart of what we do, and I’m thrilled to be back on the road and visiting so many places over the next year,” guitarist Mick Jones said in a June 2021 statement. “Looking forward to seeing you all out there.”

Foreigner has gained a reputation as one of the biggest rock supergroups in the world since its formation in 1976. While the band has undergone many lineup changes, and Jones is the sole original member performing on the upcoming Foreigner tour, we can guarantee that it will be one of your favorite rock concerts of 2021. 

Singer Kelly Hansen has been with the group since 2005 and brings smooth vocals and sweet dance moves that energize the stage – especially when placed over Jones’s iconic guitar riffs. The rest of the band delivers all the same nostalgia and classic rock energy that comes with hits like “Waiting For A Girl Like You,” “Cold as Ice,” “I Want to Know What Love Is,” and “Juke Box Hero.” 

Catch yourself humming along to that last tune? It’s one of the top Foreigner songs and the namesake for the 2020 tour with Kansas and Europe that was canceled due to the pandemic. While it was definitely disappointing to wait a whole year for a Foreigner concert, the rock supergroup is guaranteed to give these 2021 shows everything they’ve got. 

Foreigner has not released a new album since 2009, and bassist Jeff Pilson told Blabbermouth in March 2021 that it’s unlikely they’ll release another full-length record anytime soon. That being said, he did confirm that the group had worked on new music during quarantine. 

“I think that what’s gonna happen is whatever other things we release in the next couple of years, there will be some new songs added to it. So that’s what I see kind of happening,” Pilson said. Could the “whatever other things” he’s referring be this Foreigner tour, and that fans can expect to hear a few new tracks onstage? Perhaps!
