Foo Fighters 2026 Tour Announcement – Take Cover Tour Schedule
Foo Fighters are back and ready to get loud with their biggest fans. After a quiet 2025 with only a handful of surprise appearances, the rock legends have announced their “Take Cover Tour” for 2026, beginning on August 4th in Toronto, ON. They’ll stop in Philadelphia, PA, Nashville, TN, Vancouver, BC, and more before finishing up on September 26th in Las Vegas, NV.
“Since our return to the stage in San Luis Obispo five weeks ago, we have been reminded of why we love and are forever devoted to doing this Foo Fighters thing” said Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl. “From reuniting as a band and staring at a list of 30 years worth of songs to brush off, to reimagining versions with the incredible blessing of the one and only Ilan Rubin behind the drums….”
“To reconnecting with our amazing fans and blasting them with everything we’ve got (no matter the size of the venue) because we would not be here without them, we have the most solid core. And the sun is finally rising over the horizon.” It’s a beautiful sentiment, and it’s clear that Grohl means every word of it. It’s been a rough few years for the band, from Grohl’s personal struggles to the tragic death of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins back in 2022.
But even so, fans knew they’d always come back swinging. And they intend to honor Hawkins memory in a beautiful way (Rubin is a beast behind the drumkit) while treating fans to three decades worth of hits. You won’t just hear the classic Foo Fighters songs, including “Everlong,” “All My Life,” “The Pretender” and “Best of You,” but also just-released tunes from Grohl and his bandmates.
“Today’s Song” came out a few months ago, an optimistic rock anthem that’s both a nod to the future and a blast from the past. Released nearly 30 years to the day after the band’s debut album, this song is described as being about “personal evolution and perseverance in the face of life’s uncertainties.” We don’t know about you, but it sounds like this is exactly what a lot of us need in 2025. Even rock stars have devastating days, but they come out the other side with their guitars and good times ahead.
They also released “Asking For a Friend,” which is sure to be a fan favorite on the setlist at the 2026 Foo Fighters tour. This will be both a 30th anniversary celebration and a tribute to what’s coming, and Grohl and Co. can’t wait to see you in the crowd. Get your 2026 Foo Fighters tickets now!
