Florence and the Machine 2022 Tour Announcement – Dance Fever Tour Schedule
Florence and the Machine is embarking on the Dance Fever tour supporting their upcoming album of the same name! The indie-rock band will play two spring 2022 shows in Los Angeles, CA, and New York, NY, respectively, before taking the summer off and returning in the fall for a full-length tour. Florence and the Machine begin the extended shows on September 2nd in Montreal, QC, and visit 21 cities before wrapping up on October 14th in Los Angeles, CA.
“This is going to be fun,” the band wrote on Instagram along with the announcement of their first US tour dates in years. “Go grab those Gunne sax, my beautiful ghosts.” The image features singer Florence Welch in her most beautiful, deep black formal wear, reminding fans that her fashion choices are a major part of the band’s image. But still, not even a gorgeous redhead in Victorian garb can overshadow the art and indie-rock hits that you will hear on the Florence and the Machine tour.
Dance Fever is the band’s fifth album and first since 2018’s High as Hope. Fans have high expectations, but the singles surely don’t disappoint. “King,” “My Love,” and “Heaven is Here” feature Welch’s dreamy vocals in all their glory, powered by energetic guitars and soulful transitions that take your love for the band to a new level. We’ll always appreciate their most famous album, their 2009 debut Lungs. However, we’re also excited to see what the art-rock icons are putting on display with the May 2022 release of Dance Fever.
Along with the new tracks, you can also dance along to classic songs like “You’ve Got the Love,” “Dog Days Are Over,” and “Spectrum.” It’s not every day that a famously indie band gets to play the Hollywood Bowl, but Florence and the Machine are unlike any other artist in 2022.
