Fleet Foxes 2022 Tour Announcement – Shore Tour Schedule
Fleet Foxes is heading on a 23-date tour this summer in celebration of their latest release, Shore. Catch the indie rock-folk outfit beginning June 27th in Salt Lake City, UT, with stops in Austin, TX, Los Angeles, CA, and their native Seattle, WA, before wrapping up on August 13th in New York City.
“Once more unto the breach! We are overjoyed to welcome everyone to the Shore Tour this summer (we missed you)!,” Fleet Foxes wrote on Instagram, and the feeling is certainly mutual for fans. This Fleet Foxes tour marks their first in nearly four years, and it’s destined to be a dreamy experience full of old and new indie-folk hits. If you haven’t listened to their fourth album, Shore, yet, now is the time to bask in one of the best records of 2020.
Recorded in the midst of the pandemic, Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Pecknold has described Shore as having a “brighter” sound than their previous work, while also being a “celebration of life in the face of death”. The record received critical acclaim from publications like Rolling Stone, NME, and Pitchfork, who praised the band’s ambitious musical shift and expert lyricism and instrumentation.
Fleet Foxes deliver top-quality tracks and collect critical acclaim with every release, so it’s no surprise that Shore topped all the “Best Albums of 2020” lists.
