Disturbed 2023 Tour Announcement – Take Back Your Life Tour Schedule
Disturbed is heading on the “Take Back Your Life tour” in spring 2023, and they’re taking a few hard rock heavyweights with them! The Chicago-based heavy metal band will begin on April 27th in Montreal, QC, making stops in cities like Auburn, WA; Irvine, CA; Mansfield, MA; and more before concluding on September 2nd in Noblesville, IN.
Joined by Breaking Benjamin, Theory of a Deadman, Falling in Reverse, Beartooth, and Jinjer on select dates, this trek will be an extraordinary experience for any hard rock fan. Tracks like “Down with the Sickness,” “The Sound of Silence,” and “Warrior” will tear up the stage at the country’s best venues like FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA, and Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, TX! And then there are the all-new tracks from their eighth and latest album, 2022’s Divisive, which only reiterated their status as one of the best metal bands in modern history.
With new songs like “Love to Hate,” “Don’t Tell Me” with Heart’s Ann Wilson, and “Hey You,” which reached No.1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, Disturbed has managed to create a brutally honest record loved by both old and new fans. It may have taken them four years to follow up on 2018’s Evolution, but it was well worth the wait! Divisive tackles deep subject matter like politics, mental health, social media, and more, and frontman Dan Donegan has made it clear that no topic is off limits with a Disturbed record.
“Even with “Hey You,” the first single off this album, it’s a little bit of a wake-up call for us to step back and reflect on how crazy we’re all acting,” Donegan told Billboard, “Especially throughout social media and just even among friends and families and watching strangers go at it.” “Debating is a good thing. It opens our minds to educate each other on whatever our views are, but it’s not even a debate anymore,” he continues, “It’s just like, “If you don’t believe in what I believe, then I hate you, and we have to cancel you.”
“It’s the back-and-forth hatred, and now it’s just crazy. I’ve seen friendships falling apart. I’ve seen some family members that are losing their minds over it.” He reiterates the need to debate, but not attack, on the rest of the album and encourages fans to open their minds and hearts to the tune of the best heavy metal choruses ever. That’s what Disturbed has been doing since 1994, after all, joined by millions of fans and their mascot, “The Guy!” All hell will break loose in the best way at one of the best heavy metal concerts of 2023, and you can’t miss your chance to see Disturbed.
